Although the days are beginning to get lighter we are still in the dark time of winter. A nice warm defused light on a cold bleak January evening can make it feel cosier.
The lamp is made using single sheets of paper set into a wooden frame. In this case the paper is made with rhubarb but any piece if textured paper will work. The paper should not be too thick otherwise there will be no light!
The wooden frame is made from ‘L’ shaped beading with a wood bar across the bottom of the frame to attach the light fitting. A low wattage bulb is used, and as long as it is a couple of inches away from the paper, it will be fine.
